admissions411.com attempts to see inside the "black box" of the business school admission process. What does this mean? It means that no one except admission committees know what really goes on during the admissions process, but admissions411.com tries to figure out what really matters to get accepted at today's top business schools. admissions411.com takes data that users have submitted, such as GMAT score, GPA, age, work experience, etc, and aggregates this info for all to see. If you think that your top school doesn't consider applicants with low GMAT scores, you can search admissions411.com's proprietary database and find out the stats of successful applicants at that school
admissions411.com was originally created to help answer questions about waitlists - how large is it? who else is waitlisted? has anyone been accepted or rejected from the waitlist?
By tracking the data that our users share, everyone gets a picture of what business schools are looking for in this year's application class. Cross your fingers that you don't get wait listed, but if you do, admissions411.com will be here to help you and the other wait listed applicants manage the wait list from the other side.
Because admissions411.com is a community based site, that is, the user experience becomes more valuable as the amount of data we have increases, we require everyone to register to see the details of each school. Please don't be a freeloader and just register a user name to access the members only sections of the site. If you register, please fill out your application data. Remember, it's free to register and your privacy is safe, so please contribute to the community.
First, admissions411.com does not release any personal information without your expressed consent. The only real personally identifiable information we collect is your email address and IP address. This is done to monitor our users and prevent fraudulent and abusive use. Only your username and Optional Information will be displayed on your profile page and the other summary pages.
Finally, admissions411.com was built with your privacy in mind. We do not collect your real name or home address, so you can rest assured that it is next to impossible to figure out your identity from the data on admissions411.com.>
Please see our Privacy statment for further explaination of how your information is used.
Because admissions411.com is a community site, the accuracy of admissions411.com is only as good as the honesty of the users submitting the data. Of course not every applicant for every school will register and be a member of admissions411.com, so admissions411.com will be an incomplete picture of the application pool. However, we think it's save to assume that the population of data collected on admissions411.com is statistically relevant to overall population trends. Maybe next year when business schoolsrelease their limited applications stats, we can do a direct comparison and evaluate our assumption.
